Shree Om Iron Trading Co

We are located over on Girish Ghosh Road, right near the Belurmath area in Howrah. The specific address is 135/1/C. It is a typical Howrah neighborhood with lots of activity and heavy vehicles moving around constantly. We deal in iron, so our yard is always full of metal rods, sheets, and various other heavy materials. It gets pretty loud whenever things are being loaded or unloaded from the trucks that come by. The air is often thick with the smell of iron and the dust from the road. We have been at this same spot for quite some time now. We aren't the biggest iron yard in the area, but we usually have what most local people are looking for. Our office is just a small, simple room at the front where we keep our ledgers and the weighing scale. It is not fancy at all, just a place to do the paperwork. We wear old clothes every day because working with iron is a dirty and heavy job. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes the ground very muddy, which makes moving the heavy metal around a real pain for us. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. People just know we are here and stop by. We deal with small builders and local contractors mostly. We try to keep our counts honest and our prices where they should be for our neighbors. It is hard physical work.
