Shankar Iron Stores

Shankar Iron Stores is located at 1/1, Ir Belilious Lane in the Kadam Tala area. It is one of those old narrow lanes where everyone knows each other. We have been here for many years, selling iron and related stuff to anyone who needs it. The shop is small and usually full of metal. It smells like iron and old wood. We don't have a computer system that does everything for us. We still write a lot of things down by hand in our books. It works for us just fine. We aren't a big chain store. It is more of a family thing that has been around for a while. We don't use marketing tricks or try to sell people things they don't actually need. If you need a piece of iron, you come in and we find it for you. It's very direct. The street can get very crowded with carts and people, so it's often best to come on foot. We don't have a fancy page to explain ourselves. We just talk to people across the counter. Sometimes we close a bit early if there is a local festival going on. We are part of this community. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to keep the shop running and provide for our families. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We have been in Kadam Tala so long it feels like home.
