We’ve been here at Girish Ghosh Road for a good while now. It’s right in the middle of Bajrangbali Market in Belurmath, so you can imagine the noise and the constant flow of people moving through. If you know Howrah, you know how busy these narrow lanes get. R.M. Steels isn't some fancy glass office; it’s a working space where things actually happen. We spend most of our mornings unloading materials and keeping the inventory straight. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, but that’s just how it is around here. People come in from the market nearby, usually looking for something specific for their own projects. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or decorating the walls. There’s a desk, some chairs, and a lot of steel around us. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the metal, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. The tea stall down the street brings us chai twice a day, which helps us get through the long hours. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our spot in the market stays pretty much the same. It's a straightforward place for people who need what we have. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local shop that knows its regulars. Usually, someone is always around to answer a question if you drop by the Girish Ghosh Road location during the day.
