Maapitambari Developers And Associateprivate Limited is out here in Vill Sitalpur, near Bagnan in Howrah. We use Amal Kanti Ghosh’s place as our main point of contact. Being in a village means things move a little differently than in the city. It’s quieter, but there’s still plenty to do. We deal with land and development stuff, which mostly means a lot of walking around and talking to people in the neighborhood. Our setup is very basic. We have a couple of computers and a lot of paper documents that we keep in old cupboards. We aren't interested in being flashy. Most of our days are spent checking on different plots or meeting with folks who have questions about their property. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or work by the window light. It’s not always easy, but it’s the life we chose. We know most of the people around here by name, which makes doing business feel more like just helping out neighbors. We don’t have any corporate slogans. We just want to make sure the work we do is solid and that people are satisfied with how things turn out. It's a humble operation, run by people who actually live here and understand how things work in this part of Howrah.
