L. L. Shaw & Co.

We are tucked away on Carry Road in Naora, right near the Shibpur bus stand. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets when the buses come through. L. L. Shaw & Co. has been operating from this spot for a while now. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a practical space where we get our work done every day. The morning starts with the sound of the commuters and the tea stalls opening up nearby. We usually have the doors open to let some air in, though the dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes. Being so close to the bus stand means we see a lot of people passing by, but most of our regulars are folks from around Shibpur who have known us for years. We handle things here in a pretty straightforward way. There aren't many layers of management or anything like that. If you walk in, you’re likely to talk to the same person you saw last time. It can get a bit hectic in the afternoons when the traffic picks up on Carry Road, but we’re used to the noise. We keep our records on the old desks and try to stay organized, even if the place looks a bit lived-in. It’s a local business through and through, and we like being part of the neighborhood here. We just focus on our daily tasks and making sure everything is sorted before we close up for the evening.
