Chowdhary Industries

Our place is located at 7 Rabindra Sarani, which is right in the Liluah area. We are very close to the Liluah rail station, so you can always hear the trains passing by throughout the day. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of people walking around and rickshaws blocking the road. Chowdhary Industries has been here for a good while, and the building definitely shows its age, but it works for what we do. We do industrial work, which means a lot of heavy lifting and noise. The floor is concrete and often has oil marks or metal shavings on it from the day's work. It isn't the kind of place where you’d want to wear nice clothes. We have a small office tucked in the corner where the paperwork gets done, but most of the action happens out on the main floor. The light inside isn't great, so we use big overhead lamps to see what we are doing. Our team is local, and most of the guys live just a short walk or a quick train ride away. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. It is a functional space meant for getting orders finished and shipped out on time. Sometimes the rain makes the roof leak a little, but we just move the gear and keep going. It’s a simple operation, really, and we like it that way.
