L. B. Industries

The workshop is located down on Makarrdha Road in the Dasnagar area, right near the Baligola stop. It’s a bit of a gritty part of town, mostly filled with other small industries and workshops. L. B. Industries is basically a big metal shed where we do all our manufacturing. The floor is always a bit greasy and there are metal shavings in the corners, no matter how much we sweep. We have some older machines that we’ve kept running for a long time, and they still do the job well. It gets very loud when we are in the middle of a big order. We don't have a proper office room, just a small partitioned area with a desk and a phone where we handle the orders. It’s usually just a few of us working here. We don't bother with fancy signs or advertisements; people usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been buying from us for decades. The post office is nearby, so that’s a good landmark if you’re looking for the place. In the afternoons, it gets quite warm under the tin roof, so we usually take a short break for some cold water or tea. It’s a simple, hardworking environment where we just focus on getting the parts made and sent out to the customers without any drama.
