We are tucked away at 12/6 Kuchil Sarkar Lane in the Kadamtala area of Howrah, West Bengal. This is a residential part of town, so you have to navigate some narrow lanes to find us. We are part of the Jindal Steel & Power Ltd network, and this location serves as a residential or local office space for our activities in the district. Howrah is always busy and crowded, and our little corner in Kuchil Sarkar Lane is no different. You’ll hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long while we work. We don't have a big factory here; it’s more about the administrative side and keeping in touch with the logistics around the port and the railways. The office is small and functional, filled with files and the usual office supplies. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s basically just making sure the steel business keeps moving through the West Bengal region without too many hiccups. Most of the staff here have lived in Howrah their whole lives, so we know how to get things done in this city. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on top of the details. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just sit at our desks, answer the phones, and make sure the paperwork is in order for the next shipment.
