Industrial Metal Product

Our workshop for Industrial Metal Product is right on G. T. Road in the Howrah Maidan area. If you know Shibpur, you know how busy and packed this part of town is. It is one of those old industrial spots where there is always the sound of metal hitting metal. We have been here for a long time, working in a space that is filled with old machinery and scraps of steel. It is dirty work, and my hands are almost always stained with oil or grease. We make different metal parts that other businesses need for their machines. The heat in the summer can be really bad because of the tin roof, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. There isn't much room to move around inside because of all the stock and the equipment. We don't really have a sales team or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years or just walk in from the street because they need something fixed or made. It’s a bit of a chaotic place, with the traffic outside and the noise inside, but it’s home to us. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the metal is good. It’s a simple, tough way to make a living in Howrah, and we have been doing it since I can remember.
