Goyal Ispat Udyog

We are located on the second floor at 26 Ram Lal Mukherjee Lane in Salkia. It’s right near the Golabari police station area, which is always crowded and full of people. Being on the second floor makes it a bit of a climb, but we have a decent view of the street below. Salkia is one of those places where the lanes are narrow and you have to be careful walking around. We mostly handle the paperwork and sales part of the iron business from this office. It’s not a big space, just enough for a few desks and a place for people to sit when they come to discuss orders. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud that we have to close the windows just to hear the phone. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers and making sure deliveries are on track. It’s a lot of coordination since we don't have a massive yard right here in this specific building. We’ve been in this part of town for a long time, so we know most of the shopkeepers nearby. It’s a tight-knit community even if it’s a bit messy and loud. We just try to keep our head down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a honest living and we’re happy to be here.
