Ganga Electrocast Ltd is located out in Nona, Uluberia. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, but this is where the heavy work happens. We focus on casting, which is a hot and demanding process. The furnace is the heart of the place, and it stays going for long stretches. We have a crew that’s been doing this for a long time, so they know the smells and sounds of the machinery perfectly. It’s a dusty environment, as you’d expect from an industrial site in Nona. We aren't much for words; we mostly just look at the molds and the molten metal. The surrounding area is mostly quiet, which is nice when we finish a shift. We deal with various industrial parts that go into bigger machines elsewhere. It’s a lot of physical labor and paying attention to the temperature. Sometimes things go wrong with a batch, and we have to start over. That’s just part of the reality of casting. We don't have a glossy brochure or a sales team. If someone needs something cast, they usually find their way to our gates in Uluberia. It’s a practical business built on years of trial and error. We value the guys who show up every day and put in the sweat. It's just what we do here at the edge of town, day in and day out, and we try our best.
