We have been running things at Crescent Foundry Pvt. Ltd. for quite some time now. Our place is located over in Katlia, which is part of the Makardah area in the Howrah district. It is a busy spot with lots of noise from the machinery, but that is just how a foundry works. We deal with a lot of heavy metal casting and molding every single day. The guys here know the routine and they just get on with the job without much fuss. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer, but we manage to keep the output steady. We are not big on fancy offices or polished floors. Most of our space is taken up by the equipment and the raw materials we use. We have been a part of this community for years and most of the locals know where we are. Sometimes the roads around here get a bit cramped with trucks coming and going, but we make it work somehow. We just focus on the day’s tasks and try to get everything finished before the sun goes down. It is honest work and we are just regular people doing it.
