Cognizant

We are over at Flat No 11 on the 1st Floor of Block C in Panchakanya Abasan. It’s located at 171 Mahendra Bhattacharya Road in Santragachi, Howrah 711104. This place has a very residential feel to it, which is something we actually enjoy. It’s not like those cold office buildings you see in the big cities. Here, you can hear the normal sounds of the neighborhood. Being in Block C means we have our own little space away from the main road noise, though Mahendra Bhattacharya Road is always pretty active. We’ve been here at Cognizant for a bit now and the staff knows the local tea stalls and shops by heart. The flat itself is simple. We didn't do any big renovations, just kept it functional for what we need. It’s a short walk from the main gate of Panchakanya Abasan up to our door on the first floor. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit messy, but that’s just how it is in Howrah during the monsoon. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate slogans on the walls. It is just a place where we come to work every morning. Most of us live nearby or take the local transport to get here. It feels like a very local operation because we are right in the middle of a living community and we like that just fine.
