Chhabra Ispat Private Limited

We are located over at 21/7 Nabin Mukherjee Lane in Shibpur. If you know Howrah at all, you know how crowded these streets can get with all the trucks and people moving about. Our place, Chhabra Ispat Private Limited, has been sitting here for quite some time now. We don't have one of those shiny glass buildings you see in the city. It is just a regular office where we handle the daily iron and steel business. Most days start early with the sound of the shutters going up. We have a few desks that have seen better days and a lot of ledgers piled up. The tea stall at the corner is where we get our morning chai, and usually, that is where we talk to the drivers. Dealing with steel isn't exactly clean work, so there is always a bit of dust around. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the loaders know what they are doing. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is a simple life here. We know the neighbors and they know us. We don't spend much on decorating the place because we are too busy checking the stock and talking on the phone with suppliers. It is just how things work in this part of Howrah, and we are fine with that.
