You can find Bijay Steel India at 233/6 Belilious Road. This street is famous for metal and industrial stuff, so it’s always loud with the sound of hammers and trucks. Our place is basically a big shed and a small office attached to it. Everything here is covered in a thin layer of iron dust, and that’s just how it is. We deal with steel all day, so it’s heavy and dirty work. My hands are rarely clean by lunch time. We have some old desks in the office that have been here since the beginning. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. The trucks have a hard time getting in and out of the narrow gate, so there’s usually a bit of shouting and maneuvering involved. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff; we just rely on people knowing we are here on Belilious Road. It gets very hot during the summer months because of all the metal around, but we just drink plenty of water and keep going. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us making sure the steel gets measured and moved out to the customers. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. Sometimes we sit outside on stools when it’s quiet just to catch a bit of a breeze. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know.
