We are over in Serampore, specifically at 19 Mukherjee Para Lane. Our office is inside the Agnisha Apartment building, in Flat G3 on the ground floor. It is a local spot and Uttam Acharya is usually the person you will find here managing the day-to-day things. Being in Hooghly, we are tucked away from the main rush of Kolkata but still close enough to stay involved in all the steel and power work going on. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it is quite calm around here compared to a big factory site. We have been using this apartment as our base for a while now. It is not a very big office, just a practical place with some desks and a lot of files. We do not have any flashy signs or anything. People mostly find us by the address or by asking around the lane. We handle a lot of the administrative side of the steel business here. Sometimes things get a bit slow with the paperwork, but we try our best to keep it moving. It is a simple setup where we focus on the work instead of how the office looks. We know most of the people on the street. It’s just a regular workplace where a few of us show up every morning and get things done for the company. We like the local feel of being in Serampore and it works well for our needs.
