Our company, ANASUA GALVASTEEL PRIVATE LIMITED, is tucked away in Madhya Santoshpur, which is near the post office in Dakshin Santoshpur here in Howrah. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from around here, but it's where we have our setup. We work with steel, which is a heavy and often dirty job, but it’s what we do. The air around the shop usually smells like metal and machinery. We aren't a big, polished corporation from the city. We’re just local people working with materials every day. Most of the time, we are busy handling orders or checking the galvanized products we deal with. It takes a lot of patience to get things right, and sometimes the machines act up or the weather makes it hard to move stock around the yard. We don’t really have a front desk with a receptionist. Usually, if you stop by, you’ll just find one of us in work clothes trying to get a shipment ready. We keep things pretty basic. We don't use a lot of fancy terminology or try to act like we are something we're not. We just provide steel products to whoever needs them in the area. It’s a steady living and it keeps us connected to the local community in Howrah. We’ve been at this for some time now and plan to stay put in this part of West Bengal.
