Ajay Tube Company

Our shop is right near Mullick Fatak in Howrah, specifically at 351 N S Road. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always loud and full of trucks. Ajay Tube Company has been operating out of this spot for years, dealing with all kinds of metal pipes and tubing. It’s a dusty place because of all the iron and steel moving around, but we don’t mind the grime much. Most days start early before the heat gets too bad. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks that pull up on N S Road. It’s heavy work and your hands stay dirty most of the day. We have stacks of tubes in the back that we keep organized by size, though sometimes things get a bit jumbled when a big order comes in. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. We are just a local Howrah business selling tubes to people who need them for plumbing or construction. The traffic near Mullick Fatak can be a real headache, especially in the afternoons, so we try to get our deliveries sorted out by noon if we can. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for a long time. They know where we sit and they know we’ll give them a fair price without any of the extra talk. It’s a simple life here in the yard.
