Agarwal Steels is located at 265, G.T Road, specifically on Plot No 21 in the Liluah area. If you have ever driven down G.T. Road, you know how heavy the traffic is with all the trucks and commercial vehicles. Our plot is basically a large yard where we keep different types of steel products. It is a rough environment, full of the sounds of metal clanging and cranes moving things around. There is always a layer of dust because of the main road, but that is expected in an industrial spot like Liluah. We have a small cabin that serves as our office, where we sit to handle the billing and talk to the drivers. It is not a place for white shirts; we are usually out there in the yard checking the stock or supervising the loading. The work is physically demanding and goes on regardless of the heat or the rain. We don't have a website or a marketing department because our business comes from the people who see our sign on the road or have dealt with us for years. It is a straightforward, no-nonsense operation. We track everything in our books and make sure the weights are correct before the trucks leave. It is just honest work in a busy industrial belt of West Bengal, keeping the wheels of trade turning.
