Sakleshpura Honey Farmer Producer

We are located right on B M Road in Sakleshpura, not too far from the agriculture office. This area is known for being green and full of life, which is perfect for the bees we keep. A bunch of us who have hives decided to form this group so we could help each other out with the honey and the equipment. It's a tricky business, keeping bees, and the weather here can be unpredictable with all the rain we get. When the flowers are blooming, everyone is busy from dawn until dusk. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. Most of the honey comes from small patches of land and the forests around here. We spend a lot of our time checking on the hives and making sure the colonies are healthy and strong. The office on B M Road is just a place to store things and keep the books straight so we don't lose track of the harvest. It gets a bit sticky sometimes, literally, but that’s the life we chose and we wouldn't trade it. We’ve all lived around Sakleshpura for years, so we know the hills and the trees pretty well. It’s quiet work for the most part, away from the noise. We don’t do much advertising; word usually gets around just by people talking. It’s honest work, and it keeps us connected to the land. We just take it one season at a time.
