If you are looking for us, we are right near Hotel Kadamba. It is a landmark everyone knows around here, so we just tell people to head that way. We deal with grains, mostly rice, wheat, and whatever else is in season. The warehouse is usually full of sacks piled high, and the smell of dry grain is everywhere. It is a dusty job, and by the end of the day, we are all covered in it. We started this because we saw a need for someone to handle the sorting and moving of grains without making it overly complicated. We do not have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We just talk to the suppliers, check the quality of what is coming in, and get it ready for the next stop. Sometimes the grain is not as clean as we would like, so we have to spend extra time on it. That is just how it goes. The office is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a landline that rings way too often. We are usually too busy out on the floor to spend much time sitting down anyway. It is a family-run feel, even if we are not all related. We know the local drivers and the guys at the hotel next door pretty well. It is a simple business: buy good grain, keep it dry, and move it along. We do not try to make it sound like more than it is.
