Maggemane Foods Llp is based at number 11 in Chikkamagge village. We are in the Doddamagge post area of Arakalagudu Taluk, which is in the Hassan district of Karnataka. It’s a long address but once you get here, it’s a nice place. Being in a village means we are right where the food comes from. We aren't some big industrial food factory. It’s a more personal setup here in the 573142 area. We started this because we wanted to do something with the local produce from around Hassan. The work is mostly hands-on and can get quite busy depending on the season. Our building is just a regular part of the village. You won’t find any corporate logos or shiny reception desks here. We mostly just talk to the local farmers and handle the food processing ourselves. It’s a lot of hard work, but it feels right to be doing it in the village. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get muddy after the rain, but we just deal with it. People around Arkalgud know where we are if they need anything. We don’t spend much time on the computer or writing fancy reports. Most of our day is spent actually working with the food products. It’s a local business run by local people who care about what they’re doing. We focus on getting the food ready for the people.
