Green Earth International School

Green Earth International School is out in Teranya Village, near Holenarsipur in the Hassan district. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s very peaceful compared to the city. The school is surrounded by fields and a lot of greenery, which is probably why it has that name. We have some buses that go out to pick up the kids from the nearby villages and bring them here every morning. The campus at 77/8 has quite a bit of open space. The buildings are newer than some of the other schools in the area, but they are still simple and practical. We have some trees planted around the play area, and they provide a bit of shade during the hot afternoons. The classrooms have big windows to let in the breeze. Sometimes you can hear the sounds of the village, like tractors or animals, while the kids are studying. The teachers mostly come from Holenarsipur or Hassan. We don't have a huge staff, but everyone knows each other. It’s a very grounded place. We don't use a lot of complicated systems; we just stick to the schedule. The kids seem to enjoy having the space to run around during their lunch break. It’s just a normal school trying to provide an education to the children in this part of Hassan. Nothing too complicated about it, really, just daily work in the village.
