Roorkee Resort & Hotel is a small operation we have going in the Adarsh Nagar area of Roorkee. Vipin Kumar Saini is the one who mostly looks after things here. We are located at 0 Adarsh Nagar, which sounds a bit funny, but that’s the address on the records. Roorkee is a famous town because of the university, but our part of town is more residential and quiet. We are just a local business trying to provide a place for people to stay or host small events. It’s not a massive five-star place or anything. It’s just a building with some rooms and a bit of space. We spend a lot of time cleaning and fixing things up because old buildings in Haridwar district need a lot of care. The weather gets really hot in the summer, and the rains can be quite heavy, so there is always something to repair. Our team is small, just a couple of us doing everything from the front desk to the kitchen. We know most of our neighbors in Adarsh Nagar and it’s a friendly enough spot.
