Hotel Classic Residency

This place sits right on the Haridwar - Delhi Road in Jawalapur. It’s a busy stretch of tarmac. Cars and trucks are always zooming past at all hours. We’re used to the sound by now, though guests sometimes mention it. We spend our mornings mostly checking the linens and making sure the water is running right. It’s a practical kind of building, built for people who are traveling between cities and just need a place to sit down for a bit. The lobby isn't huge, but it fits a few chairs. We’ve got some plants out front that we try to keep alive despite the dust from the highway. Dealing with the power cuts is part of the job here. We just go out and start the generator when things go dark. It’s not a quiet life, but it keeps us busy. Most of the staff has been here for a couple of years, so we know the routine. We don't do anything too fancy with the decor. It’s just plain walls and sturdy furniture that can take a bit of use. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit slow when everyone arrives at once, but we manage. It’s just a regular spot on the road where we try to keep things moving. We spend a lot of time just sweeping the front step because of all the traffic outside.
