Our cafe is tucked away near Krishna Cottage and the Sudhish Guest House in the Swargashram area. If you’ve walked across Ram Jhula, you’re pretty close to us. Rishikesh has a very specific kind of energy, especially here in Swargashram, and we try to just fit right into that. We get a lot of travelers who are staying in the nearby guest houses or people who are just heading down to the river. Oasis Cafe isn't a place with fancy decorations or a complicated menu. We just serve the kind of food that feels good after a long walk or a day spent by the Ganga. The building is older and it has its quirks, but we like it that way. It feels more real than those new places that look like they could be anywhere in the world. We don't have a big corporate manual. We just hire people from around here and we all work together to keep the place running. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded and you might have to wait for a table, but that’s just how it goes in such a popular part of town. We just focus on making decent coffee and food and keeping the atmosphere relaxed for whoever walks through the door. It’s a simple life here by the bridge and we wouldn't have it any other way. You might hear the bells from the nearby temples while you're sitting here.
