Food Uncle

Food Uncle is located in the Kumar Complex on the ground floor. We are right at Ranipur Mor in Haridwar. Being in a busy spot like Ranipur means there is always noise and people moving about. We aren't a big fancy restaurant with waiters in ties. We are just a simple local joint. We opened up here because we noticed that folks around the complex needed a place to grab something to eat without any fuss. The shop is small and we don’t spend money on big signs or ads. Most people find us just by walking past. It is a family-run kind of thing, so you might see us arguing about the chores or laughing in the back sometimes. It is just real life. We use simple ingredients that we buy from the market nearby. Haridwar is a special place, and we are just happy to have a small corner in it. The walls might need a bit of paint and the chairs aren't the softest, but we focus on the cooking instead. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just want to get through the day and make sure the food is ready when people come in. It’s a basic life but we like it. We have been at this address for a good while now and plan to stay.
