Kaake Di Hatti

Kaake Di Hatti is our place in Haridwar, specifically in the Ram Nagar area on Jwalapur Road. We are at D-7, which is right across from Ashoka Talkies. If you are in Haridwar for the temples or just passing through, you might have seen our spot. It’s a busy road with a lot of rickshaws and tourists moving around all the time. We aren't one of those quiet, tucked-away places. It is lively and a bit noisy here. We have been serving food for quite some time and we don't do any of that fancy presentation. It is just big plates of food like you would get at home. The name 'Hatti' usually means a shop or a place where you get plenty to eat, and we try to live up to that. The staff here are hardworking guys who start early in the morning to get the dough and the gravies ready. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure people who come in leave full. Sometimes the place gets a little messy when there’s a big rush of pilgrims, but we clean up as fast as we can. We have the usual tables and chairs, nothing special. It is just a regular shop in a regular part of Haridwar. Most people find us because of the cinema hall nearby or they just smell the food from the street while they are walking.
