Our facility is at Khasra No.22 on Gagalheri Road, which is part of Bhagwanpur Village. It is quite a different scene from the city. Out here, you have more open space, but at Metro Frozen Folkks Food Pvt Ltd, we spend most of our time in the cold. Since we deal with frozen food, the temperature inside is always kept very low. You will usually see the staff wearing thick jackets even when it is boiling hot outside in the village. The building itself is a big functional block. It is not designed to look pretty, just to keep things at the right temperature. Gagalheri Road has a lot of trucks passing through, and we are one of the main spots where they stop to load up. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to jump to make sure the generators are kicking in properly. It is a bit of a worry when that happens, but we are used to it by now. The village life outside the gates is quiet, with mostly farmers and local shops. We have been working from this spot for a while and it suits what we do. It is just a lot of moving boxes from the freezer to the trucks and keeping an eye on the gauges. Nothing too complicated about it. We just try to keep the machines running and the food cold.
