Maruti Stones

Maruti Stones is situated over at Ashoka Estate on the A. B. Road. It’s a busy spot, and the traffic noise from the main road is something we just live with every day. Our setup is fairly basic, mostly just a large area where we store different types of stones and slabs. People stop by all the time because they’re passing through or live in the nearby colonies. We spend a lot of our time out in the yard, checking the edges of the granite and making sure everything is stacked properly so nothing breaks. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sweating, especially when the weather gets hot. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique; we just have a lot of stone that needs to find a home. Sometimes we are short-handed, so you might find us helping with the loading ourselves. The office is just a corner with a couple of chairs and a fan that’s seen better days. We’ve been at this address for a while and have seen the A. B. Road change quite a bit over the years. We keep things simple here. There’s no fancy lighting or air-conditioned showrooms. It’s just us, the stones, and the daily grind of moving inventory. Most of our regulars are local contractors who know exactly where to find us and what kind of stock we usually keep on hand for their various building projects.
