Tanwar Stone Industries

We've been at E-15-16 in Stone Park for a good while now. It’s right there in Purani Chawni, just off AB Road. If you are coming down that way, you can’t miss us because we are right near Sidhya Baba. Working with stone is a dirty job, I tell you. There is dust everywhere most days, and your hands get pretty rough. We spend our mornings moving blocks and getting things ready. It isn't fancy here. We have the workshop and the yard where the slabs sit out in the sun. Some days the heat on AB Road is really something, but we just keep at it. People from around Purani Chawni know where we are. We don't do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself when someone sees the finished stone. Tanwar Stone Industries started out with my father, and now we just carry on the daily routine. We handle all sorts of cutting and polishing tasks. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a saw or a grinder. That is just how it goes in a place like this. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city, just a steady one that does what it says. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us covered in grey dust or loading a truck. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday and we like it that way.
