Paradise Stones

Paradise Stones is tucked away in Purani Chawni. We are right behind the police station, so it’s a pretty easy place to find if you ask anyone in the neighborhood. Purani Chawni has that old feeling to it, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for a while. Our stone yard is where we spend most of our time. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of stone slabs leaning against each other. We have to be careful how we stack them so nothing breaks or falls. Working behind a police station means it’s usually a bit quieter than being right on a main highway, which we like. We’re just regular people doing a job. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People usually hear about us from their neighbors or just happen to see us when they’re in the area. We move the stone around with a lot of effort and sometimes a little bit of help from a machine. Every piece of stone has its own look, and we just keep them sorted so people can browse through. We’ve got a small office where we keep the books, but most of our day is spent outside. It’s a bit of a rough-and-tumble business, and our clothes usually show it. We’re just here doing our thing in Purani Chawni. There isn't much more to it than that, really.
