Parasnath Stones

Parasnath Stones is located inside Maya Sadan in Naya Bazar. If you know Lashkar, you know how tight those streets can get. Naya Bazar is always full of people, cows, and bikes, so getting here can be a bit of a challenge if you’re driving. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. Maya Sadan is an older building, and our space is filled with different types of stone slabs. It’s a bit cramped, honestly. We spend a lot of time moving things around just to show a customer a specific piece at the bottom of the pile. My hands are always rough from handling the material. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us talking to folks who walk in from the market. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the stock. The noise from the bazaar never really stops until late at night. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the crowds go by while we wait for a delivery. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share tea or talk about the market prices. There’s no corporate ladder or fancy titles here. We just try to get the orders right and keep the place running despite the heat and the noise of Naya Bazar. It has been our daily routine for quite many years now and we are used to it.
