We operate out of the Chandmari area, right near the Commerce college in Guwahati. Our setup is a bit different because we don't have a traditional shop where you come and sit. Instead, we go to people's homes. We’ve found that people in Guwahati are pretty busy, so they appreciate us coming to them. Rahul started this a while back with just a small kit and a bike. Now there are a few of us. We carry everything we need in our bags—scissors, combs, sprays, and towels. It’s a bit of a workout traveling around 781001 all day, especially when the weather is humid. We do hair cutting and some spa treatments, nothing too over the top. It’s nice because we get to talk to people in a more relaxed way than you would in a loud salon. Sometimes we have to deal with traffic jams near the Commerce area, which can make us a few minutes late, but our customers are usually understanding about it. We don't use any fancy marketing or big ads. Most of our work comes from neighbors telling each other about us. It’s a simple way to run a business and it keeps us moving around the city. We like the variety of seeing different homes and meeting new people every day. It feels more personal that way than working in a fixed storefront.
