Van Boxsel Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has its office at H.No. 1198 in Maruti Vihar, Gurgaon. Gurgaon is known for its big glass buildings, but Maruti Vihar is a bit more grounded and older. Our office is basically a house that’s been converted into a workspace. It makes for a very homey feeling, which is nice because engineering can be a bit dry sometimes. We have a few rooms set up with desks and drafting tables. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the main roads of Haryana. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We’ve been here for a while and the office has sort of grown around us. There are files everywhere and the tea kettle is always on. We don’t really bother with fancy branding or polished brochures. Most of our clients have been with us for years. They know where we are and how we work. It’s a very practical setup. Sometimes we have meetings in the small garden out front when the weather is nice. It’s a lot better than being stuck in a high-rise building with no windows that open. We just focus on the engineering problems and try to provide honest answers to whoever asks. It’s a small operation, but we like it that way. No corporate politics, just work and some good conversation over lunch with the staff.
