Lisha Engineering Industries

We operate out of Flat 6C in the Gharonda Apartments, which is on Plot GH33 in Sector 56, Gurgaon. It’s a residential building, so it doesn't feel like a cold office building at all. We’ve got some machinery and tools tucked away, and the sound of work is pretty much a constant thing during the day. Sometimes the neighbors might hear a bit of noise, but we try to keep it down during the early hours. Living and working in the same area makes things simple for us. We don't have to deal with a long drive every morning. The apartment setup is practical. We use the main rooms for the engineering side of things and the smaller rooms for keeping our records and spare parts. It’s 122001 area, so we are right in the middle of a lot of activity. We handle a lot of small parts and technical drawings here. Most days are spent checking measurements and making sure the metal pieces fit together right. It isn’t glamorous work, and our hands usually end up a bit greasy by the end of the shift. We’ve got a small kitchen where we heat up lunch and talk about the news. It feels like a home because it mostly is one. We just happen to run an engineering business out of it. It works for us and keeps our overheads low so we can just focus on the actual work. We're used to the noise and the grease by now.
