Authentic Engineers

Sector 37 in Udyog Vihar is a lot of concrete and trucks, and that is where you’ll find us in Phase-VI. Authentic Engineers is basically just a bunch of us who like mechanical things. We’ve been at this address for several years. It’s loud in the workshop because there’s always something being machined or welded. You can smell the cutting oil as soon as you walk in. We don't really do the whole office shirt and tie thing here. Most of us are in work boots and have grease under our fingernails by noon. It's just the way it goes when you're working with your hands all day. The lunch break is usually the quietest time, when the machines stop humming and we can sit outside for a bit if it isn't too hot. We take on a lot of different engineering jobs, mostly parts that other people can't seem to get right. It takes time and patience to get the tolerances where they need to be. We aren't rushing through things just to get them out the door. We’d rather get it done correctly once than have someone bring it back a week later. The commute to Phase-VI can be a pain with all the construction, but we make it work. It’s a solid place to work and we know the neighbors pretty well by now. Just a regular engineering shop doing what we do every day.
