Our place is located in Phase II, right along the main Delhi Gurgaon Road. It’s a busy spot, and you can always hear the cars and trucks rushing past outside the gate. We are at units 287 and 288. Having two units side by side helps us keep the engineering work separate from the office stuff, though everything usually ends up getting mixed together anyway. There is always someone coming in with a part that needs fixing or asking if we can fabricate something specific. We have a few big machines that take up most of the floor space in the back unit. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we have a few big fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy lobbies; it’s mostly just grease on the floor and tools on the benches. People know us for being reliable with the metalwork and the mechanical stuff we handle. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a job, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. The tea stall down the road is where we usually get our afternoon break. It’s been a part of our routine for years. We just try to do honest work and keep the machines running like they should. It isn't always easy, and sometimes the machines act up, but we figure it out eventually. We like being in this part of town because most of our suppliers are just a short drive away.
