The Tea Times

We have been running things at Shop Number 29 in Sector 30 for a good bit now. Our location is right on National Highway 8 29, which means there is always a lot of movement outside. Most mornings it is just us here getting the place ready before the main rush starts. People stop by when they are driving through or if they live nearby in the neighborhood. It is a small spot and we don't try to make it look fancy at all. Sometimes the noise from the highway is a bit much but you get used to it after a while. We keep the kettle going throughout the day. The Tea Times is not a big chain or anything like that. It is just our own place where we handle every single task ourselves. We wash the cups, sweep the front floor, and make sure we have fresh milk delivered every morning. We have seen a lot of regular faces over the months. Some people come in every single morning at the same time without fail. We do not do any real advertising. It is mostly just people seeing the sign and deciding to walk inside. Sometimes we run out of things or the old stove acts up, but that is just how it goes in a small shop. We try to keep it simple. It is mostly just about having a place for people to sit down for a minute. We are glad to be here.
