Suraj Juice Corner

We’ve got a corner spot on New Mata Road called Suraj Juice Corner. We are right next to the Chaudhry Tent House in Rajiv Nagar, Sector 13. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s a lot of dust and noise from the passing cars and trucks. We’ve been here for quite some time now, serving fresh juice to the people in this part of town. The shop is really just a counter and a couple of juicing machines. It’s nothing fancy to look at. We spend most of our time peeling fruit and cleaning up the rinds. It’s a lot of manual work, and our aprons are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We don't have a website or any social media pages. If people want a drink, they just show up. During the summer, it gets incredibly busy and we can barely keep up with the demand. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a real problem when you need to run blenders, but we just manage as best as we can. We know a lot of the regular commuters who pass by every day. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere, even with all the traffic noise. We don't use any complicated recipes or expensive ingredients. It’s just fresh fruit and a bit of sugar or salt. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to keep the shop running and provide a cold drink to anyone who needs one.
