Shri Sai Nath Soda Shop

Shri Sai Nath Soda Shop is located on Kheri Road, and we operate out of a space provided by Vijay Kumar Sareen. We are very close to the Chhota Jain Mandir. This is a well-known landmark in our area. Our shop is quite small. There is mostly just enough room for the soda machine and a counter for the customers. It is a very busy road with lots of motorcycles and cars passing by at all hours, so it gets quite dusty. We spend our day mixing the syrups and keeping the carbonation levels just right. The soda has to have plenty of fizz. There is a constant sound of gas hissing and bottles opening. We don't have much in the way of furniture. Just a couple of stools and the counter where people stand. The floor is concrete and we have to wash it down every evening because of the sticky spills. Many people stop here for a quick break while they are traveling along Kheri Road. It’s a simple business. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. The walls have a few calendars hanging on them and some old photos from the years we've been here. We know many of our regulars who stop by at the same time every day for their usual drink. They like to chat. It is a basic setup, but it works for us and keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
