Our place is right on NH-8 in the Bilaspur area of Gurgaon. It is called Safe And Multi-Purpose Engg. Works, and we have been at this spot in Dharwara for quite a while. Being so close to the highway means there is always noise and trucks passing by, which is just part of the day. The shop handles a bit of everything when it comes to engineering. Some days it is heavy metal work, and other days we are just cleaning up parts for someone who lives nearby. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk with a lot of papers and the main area where all the machines are set up. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the sun hitting the roof, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving enough to keep working. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so they know their way around the equipment without having to think about it much. We see a lot of people stopping by because they saw our sign from the road. It is a practical kind of life, getting our hands dirty and making sure things are built solid. We don't use any fancy systems to track things, just a logbook and our own memory. It is a straightforward operation, and we like keeping it that way because it works for us and the people in Bilaspur who need things fixed.
