S. K. Y. Overseas

Our place is located out at the 38th Milestone on Behrampur Road in Khandsa village. It’s a bit of a drive out of the main city, and the roads can be a bit bumpy and dusty depending on the season. We handle export and import work, so the main thing you’ll see here is boxes. Lots and lots of boxes stacked up waiting to go somewhere. We have a small office where we keep track of all the shipping logs and the various documents required for overseas trade. It’s not a fancy glass building; it’s a functional space where we can get the work done. The village surroundings mean it’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of a big commercial hub, except when the trucks are loading or unloading. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters and checking on port schedules. Sometimes there are delays at the docks which makes things a bit stressful for everyone, but we just deal with it as it comes. We have a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s checking a shipment or helping move a pallet when someone is in a hurry. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It’s just a group of people working together to make sure things get delivered to where they need to go without too much trouble.
