You can find Polyphase Engineering Company over in Sector-30 B. We’ve got the space at No. 1604/2, which has been our home base for quite a while now. The area is fairly predictable, which is nice for a business like ours. We don’t have a big sign with flashing lights; just a small nameplate so people know they’ve found the right spot. Inside, the layout is designed for utility. We have our main assembly area and a couple of desks for the paperwork side of things. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find grease on the door handles and a lot of metal scraps in the bins. We do a lot of hands-on work, so things aren't always pristine. The lighting is bright because we need to see what we’re doing with small parts. Most of us have been in the engineering field for a long time, so we don't spend a lot of time talking about theories. We just look at what needs to be built or repaired and get to it. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often eaten right at the desk or out at a local spot nearby. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls, just some old safety posters and a clock that runs a few minutes fast. It’s a steady environment where the focus stays on the day's tasks. Being in Sector-30 B gives us a good balance of space and accessibility.
