Working out of Pioneer Square in Sector 62 is a bit different from the smaller shops. We are up on levels 3 to 6. It’s a big building, and being near the Golf Course Extension Road means there is always a lot of activity outside. Even though we are part of a huge company, our daily life here is pretty grounded. We spend a lot of time in meetings or looking at screens, but we also spend time just chatting near the water cooler. The elevators can be slow in the morning, so some of us just take the stairs if we’re only going up one floor. It’s a professional space, but you’ll see people with messy desks and half-eaten lunches just like anywhere else. We handle a lot of the big-picture stuff for the brand, but on a Tuesday afternoon, it’s mostly just about getting through the emails. The view from the windows is mostly other office buildings and the road. We get a lot of delivery drivers coming in with lunch orders for the staff. It’s a busy place with people always rushing to the next thing. We try to keep it friendly, even when the deadlines are tight. Most of us have been here a while and know the best spots to grab a quick snack nearby. It’s just our daily routine in a tall building. We keep things moving as best as we can every single day.
