Our office is over in Sushant Lok 1, up on the second floor of building C-388. It’s a decent area, and it is much quieter than the industrial parts of the city where we used to be. Oak India Pvt Ltd isn't some massive corporation with hundreds of employees and a fancy lobby. We’re just a smaller team of seven people working out of a few rooms. We spend most of our time on computers or sitting in meetings around a scratched wooden table. There’s always a stack of files sitting on the corner desk that never seems to get any smaller no matter how much we work. We deal with corporate logistics and some back-end support for other companies in the region. It’s the kind of work that isn't very visible to the public but needs to be done right to keep things moving. The office has a small pantry where we make our own tea and coffee because the stuff from the vending machine downstairs is pretty terrible. We don't have a strict dress code or any of those corporate rules. It’s just a practical workspace where we can get things done without being bothered. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up and we end up taking the stairs, which is okay I guess. We moved to this spot because it’s central and easy for our clients to reach us. We've been through a few different versions of this business before now.
