You can find us at Tower 18 in The Close South, which is part of the Nirvana Country area. My Tea Chapel Private Limited started because we really liked the idea of having a dedicated place for tea and snacks that didn’t feel like a big chain. Being up on the 9th floor at unit 901 gives us a bit of a different view of the neighborhood. It’s a bit quieter than the main markets, which we actually prefer for the kind of work we do. We spend a lot of time tasting different blends and thinking about what our customers would actually enjoy drinking on a Tuesday afternoon. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to make a good cup of tea. The staff here is small, mostly just a few of us who have been around since we opened. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment; it’s more about the leaves and the water and getting the timing right. Nirvana Country is a nice place to be based, even if it’s a bit out of the way for some. We like the community feel here. If you are looking for a bunch of corporate talk, you won't find it with us. We’re just regular people who happened to turn a love for tea into a daily job. It keeps us busy and we like the routine that comes with running a small tea shop.
