We’ve been at C-432 Sushant Lok Phase -1 for a good while now. It’s not a fancy place, just where we keep all the fountain parts and the pumps. Most days, the floor is a bit wet because we’re testing something or other in the back. My desk is usually covered in old invoices and sketches for new water setups. People around Sushant Lok know us as the place with the splashing water noise coming from the yard. We started Minnies Fountains because we liked the idea of making things look nice, but it’s mostly just hard work and getting our hands dirty with plumbing and electricity. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat while we’re unclogging a nozzle or checking a motor. It gets pretty loud when the big fountains are running for a test. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that, so if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and picks it up. The office chair has a squeak that I keep meaning to fix but never get around to it. It’s a small operation here. We handle everything from the small garden pieces to the larger ones that take a few guys to lift into a truck. We keep a stash of tea and biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. The sign outside is a little faded from the sun, but people still find us okay. It’s just how we do things.
