Green Craft Exports Pvt. Ltd. is based on the ground floor at 94-P, Sector-30. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood, which is a nice change from the busier parts of the city. Our space is mostly taken up by samples of different crafts that we keep on display for anyone who visits. It often looks a bit disorganized because we are always opening boxes or preparing new ones to be sent out. We have a small patch of green outside the window that we try to keep tidy. Our team is small, consisting of just a few people who look after the books and a couple more who check the items for any damage. We do not have a big sign or any bright lights outside. Most of our business comes from people who already know us or were told about us by someone else. We spend a good amount of time talking to the craftsmen who bring their items to us from the surrounding villages. It is interesting to see the different things they make by hand. We do not use much high-tech equipment here; a lot of our work is still done with pens, paper, and simple spreadsheets. When an order is large, we might stay a bit late to finish the packing, but we usually try to head home by evening. It is a straightforward place to work without any pretense. (246 words)
