Costa Coffee

Our shop is over on M G Road Mehrauli. It’s called Costa Coffee. Most people around here know where that is because the traffic is always backed up right near us. I start my shift early when the sun is barely up. We spend the first hour just getting the machines ready and putting out the chairs. It’s not a huge place, but it gets the job done for people who need to sit and talk or just stare at their phones for a while. Being on M G Road means we see all sorts of people. Some are in suits and some are just passing through on their way to work. We don't really do much besides make drinks and hand them over. The smell of coffee is everywhere, which I don't even notice anymore, but people tell me they like it. We have some regulars who come in at the exact same time every single day. We know what they want before they even say anything. Mehrauli is a busy area and it feels like it never really stops moving outside our window. We just keep the lights on and the floor swept. It's a simple setup. Nothing too complicated about what we do here. If you’re around this part of M G Road, we are the place with the red sign. We don't have a long story to tell. We just serve coffee and wait for the next person to walk in the door.
